July: Nature in fullest splendour a sense of well-being, of peace, relaxed contentment in summer heat…

Time for Thinking of Others: Whilst we may be enjoying a sense of well- being, so many others in our world are suffering. Lord, in our times of plenty help us to show compassion to the victims of disaster, those caught in floods, earthquakes, in wars and terrorist attacks, those who suffer hunger. Forgive us for the times we ignore the plight of the needy. Help us to be generous of heart. Amen

Adoration: There is Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament after 9.30 am Mass on Fridays. Please don’t be a stranger make a quick visit. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 12.45 pm.

Changing of the guard: Fr Roy Donovan will be liturgically installed as Parish Priest at 7.30 pm Mass in Caherconlish church on Saturday 10th July. Fr Currivan will remain on as assistant priest.

Anyone who didn’t have a card are more than welcome to make a small contribution on the day and join the walk and in doing so will be will be helping the great work being done with the children of the Parish. The Club has put a huge amount of work into U6, U8, U10 and U12 level over the last 3 to 4 years and this effort has seen a fantastic surge in numbers playing our games. Please come along and join us on the day for a few hours family fun. Refreshments and grub will be served post walk in Uncle Tom’s. Our U12 hurlers played Coshlea Gaels in our own field recently and despite missing a few key players due to injury and holidays, Caherline battled hard to earn a deserved draw. This U12 team, most whom are underage again next year, have shown great skill and determination in their games this year, winning 2, drawing 2 and losing only 1. Our U14's and U16's are also going well under the stewardship of Dave Balfrey and Philip Mulready respectively.
